Former Executive Vice President / General Manager of the WNBA Three-time Champions Los Angeles Sparks. The only person in the entire organization that was a part of all three titles.

Originally from the east coast, Washington, DC. My love of hot weather was why I migrated to the west coast to attend the University of San Diego State on an athletic basketball scholarship and finishing at Long Beach State. After wrapping up a very successful college career, I headed overseas to play professional basketball in Italy, Greece, and Israel for ten years.

In 1997 the newly WNBA (Women National Basketball Associated) was formed in America. I was an inaugural player allocated to the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks. The first game played on June 21, 1997, at the Great Western Forum home of the LA Lakers, where I scored the first basket in WNBA history.

In 1999 after playing three seasons as a player, I retired to become the General Manager of the Sparks. In 2001, I became the faster person man or woman to go from playing on the court to an executive to win a professional championship in two short seasons capturing the Sparks the first of three Championships 2001, 2002, and 2016.

In 2006, the Sparks retired my number #11 jersey in recognition of my playing and management career, which was the first female jersey retired in Staples Center. In 2014, I became the only female in professional sports to have consecutively been a player, executive, and head coach for the same team I played on.

In addition to the Sparks, I was a member of the USA Basketball Women's Competition Committee, where I assisted in the selection of four gold medal-winning teams. I also assist in the selection of the 2020 Olympic Team and spent time on the WNBA Labor Relations Committee, the group that negotiated the WNBA new 2020 Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Beyond the WNBA, I combined my business and leadership skills to assist in various community outreach. Also, traveling the country speaking to audiences from high school to athletes, women groups, and professional executives about unlocking their potential, take accountability and action to overcome their fears and live the life they dreamed.

In my spare time, I love morning walks to start my day, the beach, theater, reading and writing, and watching all the shows on HGTV.
